This repository uses two licenses so implementers can freely use the code and schemas while preserving attribution for the written specification.

## Apache License 2.0

The website source, scripts, tests, JSON Schemas, and JSON examples are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

## Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International

The protocol specification, documentation, and explanatory prose are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

## Marks and conformance

These licenses do not grant permission to imply endorsement, certification, or conformance. An implementation may describe itself as “compatible with the Ad+Card draft” only when it identifies the implemented draft version and does not overstate its assurance.
